About The R&A
Based in St Andrews, The R&A runs The Open, elite amateur events, international matches and rankings. Together The R&A and the USGA govern the sport of golf worldwide, operating in separate jurisdictions but sharing a commitment to a single code for the Rules of Golf, Rules of Amateur Status and Equipment Standards. The R&A, through R&A Rules Ltd, governs the sport worldwide, outside of the United States and Mexico, on behalf of over 41 million golfers in 145 countries and with the consent of 161 organisations from amateur and professional golf.
The R&A is at the forefront in modernising the sport and making it more relevant to today’s society. The R&A’s purpose is to make golf more accessible, appealing and inclusive and to ensure it is thriving 50 years from now.
Our HR team currently seeks to recruite a Payroll & Benefits Assistant to complete end to end administration for all organisational payrolls, be responsible for all payroll and benefits assistance and administration and support in general departmental administration. As well as the essential expertise outlined in the job description, the ideal candidate will also have a passion for working in a payroll function, be an excellent communicator and have in interest in supporting HR activities and projects.
