To sustain and support our growth, we are expanding our Finance team in Cardiff. We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to be responsible for assisting in the processing of the monthly payroll in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
Responsibilities

  • Assist in the processing of the company's payroll each month
  • Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes
  • Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
  • Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
  • Honours confidentiality of employee’s pay records
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator
  • A relevant payroll qualification, or equivalent payroll experience
  • Solid understanding of basic payroll principles
  • Knowledge of salary sacrifice schemes
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work to various deadlines
  • Excellent mathematical and report writing skills
  • Familiar with accounting software
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience in dealing with overseas payrolls
  • Experience with using Netsuite, Bamboo and Pento software packages is desirable
