Payment Fraud Professional – Darlington, Derry (Hybrid) – Attractive salary and benefits package

If so, BT are looking for Payment Fraud Professional where we’ll empower you, to empower our business units.
The role will seek to prevent payment fraud in conjunction with the Payment Fraud Analytics Manager and working alongside the wider Fraud, Credit Referral and Risk teams. This will be achieved by diving into the data, preparing and conducting analysis using SAS as well as building models/rules. One of the most important aspects of this role, is the ability to analyse data and turn it into something useful to reduce fraud and minimise bad debt.
Additionally, the role holder will also work on new projects/initiatives involving payments, creating requirements and overseeing to delivery, as well as conducting fraud risk assessments.
You will be required to collaborate with BT stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to give insights and support the larger business with payment-related issues.

What will the role involve as our Payment Fraud Professional?
- You'll be a member of a team that provides data-driven solutions and insights to enhance the effectiveness, speed, and calibre of decision-making.
- Design, refine, and optimise fraud strategies, including fraud rules and models.
- Provide insightful analytics on transactional and behavioural trends to identify fraudulent activity.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards/KPIs, presenting an accurate picture of the current payment fraud landscape.
What are we looking for in our Payment Fraud Professional? You may have a variety of the below;
- Ability to analyse large quantities of data and turn into actionable insights.
- Advanced communication skills with colleagues, stakeholders and customers.
- Being able to understand technical processes/landscape and communicate this to a non-technical audience.
- Relationship management with senior leaders across multiple business units up to Director level.
