Bread Source is an independent, contemporary bakery specialising in additive free, artisan bread and pastries. We have 7 outlets based in Norfolk with exciting growth plans for the future.
All our products are made from scratch using real/ good ingredients and are crafted through traditional methods.
We're looking to hire a pastry cook to join our growing team at our main bakery unit in Norwich working a variety of shift patterns. Previous bakery experience is ideal but we're also willing to train if the right candidate comes along.
You must :
- Create and develop recipes for a variety of baked goods - Cakes, Donuts, cookies, Danish, Tray bakes.
- Ensure to adhere to health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including all equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with other bakery staff to ensure that orders are completed on time.
- Prepare and produce baked goods. Cakes, Donuts, cookies, Danish, Tray bakes.
- Keep up-to-date with new pastry trends and techniques.
All bakers are expected to:
- Work in an efficient manner within a commercial environment
- Follow our health and safety procedures
- Be aware of personal safety and the safety of others
- Be reliable and punctual
- Ability to work as a team.

Full time hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- 5 days a week on a rota basis.
- Must be available to work weekends.
