An Exciting opportunity has arisen in the Patient Services Department which is within the facilities division.
As part of the Patient Services Assistants role it is expected of the right candidate to provide a high standard of cleanliness to the clinical areas and is responsible for the efficient cleaning of areas to required specified standards in line with Trust Policy within the given timescales.

Decant 22.75 average 09:00 – 16:00 rota
Wards 18.0 hours 09:00 – 14:00 rota
Trinity 24.0 hours 07:30 – 16:00 rota
Supernumary 15 hours 07:30 – 15:30 rota
Xray/ct/mri 8 hours 16:00 – 20:00 sat & sun
Wards 25 hours 09:00 – 14:30 rota
Wards 22.5 hours 09:00 – 14:00 rota
Decant 33.25 average 20:00 – 06:00 rota
Decant 22.75 average 09:00 – 16:00 rota
Decant 22.75 average 18 month temp 09:00 – 16:00 rota
Decant 14 hour average 16:00 – 20:00 rota
Wards 12 hours 16:00 – 20:00 rota
Neonatal 14 hour average 07:00 – 11:00 rota
Wards 10.5 average 17:00 – 20:00 rota

We are looking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our Domestic Services Team to provide a high quality domestic service to Chesterfield Royal Hospital working within our ward or outpatient departments.
Your duties will include the cleaning of the wards, departments, public and staff areas, alongside your colleagues working as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors following agreed work schedules, methods and procedures in accordance with the National Standards of Cleanliness.
Cleaning experience is desirable however new starters to Domestic Patient Service Assistant roles will undergo training on work methods and protocols etc.
Candidates will need to be physically fit due to the nature of the work and the post will be subject to a standard DBS check.
