Opportunity: Patient Safety & Risk Manager
Contract: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: South Manchester, WFH 1-2 days per week (optional)
Travel: some national travel to our sites across the UK plus mileage expenses
Salary: £33,000-£40,000 depending on experience
Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays & the option to buy additional leave after 1 year's continuous service.

Due to our continued growth and expansion, Diagnostic Healthcare are currently searching for an enthusiastic Patient Safety and Risk Manager to join our Quality & Risk Team in Manchester. You will be joining a small, experienced team, working closely alongside the Chief Quality & Risk Officer to promote and deliver an exceptional standard of patient safety and risk management.
As the Patient Safety & Risk Manager, you will take the lead on risk management, incident reporting and patient safety, and Health & Safety. A key area of focus in the role will be the Patient Safety & Incident Reporting Framework (PSIRF), where you will work closely alongside the Chief Quality and Risk Officer to ensure its successful implementation.
This is a varied and dynamic role where you will get the opportunity to travel to DHC's static and mobile sites to build relationships with our clinical teams, implement change and drive continuous improvement based on their feedback, as well as conducting on-site risk assessments, investigations, audit, and training.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in working in a patient safety role within the NHS or independent sector with a solid understanding of patient safety and governance in addition to a demonstratable track record of successful risk management. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with exceptional communication skills as well as the ability to influence cross-functionally and build strong relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
You will be employed on a full-time basis reporting into our Head Office in South Manchester. You will have the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week in addition to national travel to our static and mobile sites.
