You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker.
Here are some of the amazing things you will be doing:
- Assisting service users with bathing, grooming, and getting dressed
- Handling household tasks like grocery shopping and laundry
- Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate time
- Administering oral and topical medication
- Providing mental and emotional support
- Making recommendations to family members and healthcare personnel on the plan of care
- Working with other health care and social care professionals to provide the best possible care for our service users.

Founded 10 years ago, Hands on care is a family run business with a dedicated team of carers that specialises in home care, often known as “domiciliary care”, offering for both social and personal care. We work closely with individuals and their families to ensure that they are receiving the very best personalised care possible.
Maintaining independence is important to many people, and we want people to feel rest assured that our team can help to encourage this, while being on hand for anything that is needed, even if it’s just for a friendly chat with a cup of tea!
The areas we cover: Broughall, High Ercal, Higher Heath, Hodnet, Market Drayton, Muckleton, Newport, Prees, Roden, Rodington, Shawbury, Stanton Upon Hine, Telford, Tilstock, Upton Magna, Wellington, Wem, and Whitchurch.
Candidates will be required to provide evidence of their right to work in the UK, undertake an enhanced DBS and attend an interview at our head office.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 4-40 per week
Salary: £10.00-£11.50 per hour
