Job description
We are looking for a part time Patient Care Coordinator, must be available to work on Thursdays and Fridays. The role of the PCC is to ensure that incoming documents, reports, registrations requests, and other clinical and patient correspondence are managed and correctly directed within the surgery, we are looking for someone with excellent administrative and organisational skills, with an ability to bring new innovative ideas and to be able to delegate duties with the support of the Practice Manager.
· To ensure incoming clinical documents to the surgery via Emis, email, post or any other means are coded and directed to the relevant member of staff, safely and efficiently.
· To ensure urgent and documents relating to safeguarding are dealt with quickly and appropriately.
· To work with reception, admin and management staff to develop systems and protocols for document management.
· To oversee registrations and deductions and make sure an efficient and accurate system is in place.
· To make sure training is in place to ensure the above duties are delegated during times of holiday and absence.
· To help with patient recall, monitoring and contract work in support of the Contract Lead
· To help cover and work with the reception team.
This is a new role at Statham Grove Surgery, the job responsibilities list is not exhaustive and it is expected that the role will evolve to suit the surgery and successful candidate, when in place. The successful candidate will be expected to adopt a flexible attitude towards the duties outlined which may be subject to amendment at any time in consultation with the post-holder and in line with the needs of the organisation
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week
Salary: £11.33-£14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, N16 9DP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Medication administration: 1 year (required)
