About Strand Palace
All 785 guest rooms, lobby, restaurant and bar are refurbished to a modern and contemporary style inspired by the hotel's popular art deco era in the 1920's. We welcome guests on business and leisure from all corners of the UK and worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- To support the Executive Chef and Sous chef in the creation of the afternoon tea, Restaurant and Events desserts.
- Ensure effective management for all stock including storage, rotation, preparation and service quality and quantity in accordance with statutory health safety regulations and Hotel standards
- Ensure daily/weekly procedures including temperature checks, food labelling/dating and storage are carried out and that records are kept up to date
- Ensure all food is cooked, prepared and the presented in the correct style and in accordance with the required hotel standard
