We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, well organised and friendly person to join us as our Pastoral Support Team to improve and develop good behaviour and social inclusion practice alongside our Pastoral Manager. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Pastoral Manager and SLT Behaviour to lead support.
Candidates should have excellent communications skills and have experience of working in a busy and demanding environment. You will need to be flexible, have a positive approach and be able to manage time to meet deadlines.
the role involves interactions with Heads of Year, students, staff, parents and the wider community. You will need to be able to show good interpersonal skills and a commitment to children’s wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities
- To work as part of a co-ordinated and professional team to reduce incidents of disruptive behaviour across the school, to create a positive learning environment and ensure the smooth running of the school.
- To provide additional high quality pastoral support for students in an allocated year group which promotes their safety, well-being and personal development.
- To provide a range of support for students who fail to meet minimum standards of expected behaviour or who exhibit behaviour difficulties with a view to improving their behaviour in the classroom and across the school.
- To support and uphold the positive behaviour ethos of the school and follow the school’s policy for behaviour.
