Job description
Cambridgeshire County Council is looking to appoint a Monitoring Business Support Officer to join our Passenger Transport Delivery Team. This is a part time position 0.6FTE on a Fixed Term Contract until August 2025.
You will contribute to the provision of Education and Social Care Transport by assisting the team with the monitoring of contracts and improving quality with transport suppliers by supplying feedback and guidance. You will work with the Monitoring Officer in ensuring that service standards are met and guidance is adhered to.
This will be a demanding role in a very busy team. You will have knowledge and experience of working with a range of administrative systems and stakeholders.
The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of Windows & Microsoft packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook). The role will require:
- UK Driving Licence – Monitoring of contracts will be at schools, colleges and other locations.
- Good attention to detail and experience of contract monitoring and contract compliance.
- Good communication skills, tact and diplomacy.
- Be able to develop positive relationships with stakeholders
- Be organised.
- Have good ICT skills
- An ability to meet deadlines and provide flexible and timely support.
- Willing to undertake verifying checks with service providers for the Disclosure and Barring Service.
