Join our team of Passenger Assistants at Woodman Taxis, the Job entails, being picked up by the Taxi driver at your home, to go and collect your passenger at their home and take them to their school or respite placement, you will then be returned to your home.
There are two shifts in a day, morning and the afternoon return. Both of these shifts are school drop off and pick up times, depending on the contract miles, the time varies.
You will be helping with the Passenger, making sure they stay safe and comfortable for the journey, eg. ensuring they are belted in, ensuring they are helped in and out of the vehicle if required, and entering and exiting their school safely.
All our Passengers have special need requirements, full disclosure of the passengers needs are provided.
Due to the vulnerable status of our Passengers an enhanced DBS Certificate is required from NYCC, prior to commencing work.
As this job is school transport , the work is at term times, we divide the yearly pay including holiday pay into weeks so you will be paid every week on a Friday, even during holidays when you will not be required to work.
