Job description
Terago is a fast-growing transport provider specialising in home to school transport for SEND children and social care transport for older adults. We work with a number of Councils and Public Sector bodies throughout South London.
We are looking for an ultra-reliable passenger assistant to travel with our service users from home to school.
Our routes take approximately 1 - 2 hours and operate in the morning and afternoon. The driver will normally collect you from home at the start of the morning and afternoon journeys and return you home after dropping at the school or setting. The hours are typically between 7:30–9:30 am and 2:30–4:30 pm although this depends on the route.
Experience is not essential, as we provide full and comprehensive training. You will however need to be calm and caring and able to communicate effectively with parents and others.
We’re only looking for the most reliable and caring people to join our team so we pay some of the highest rates in the business: You’ll get an hourly rate of £11.95 per hour plus a monthly attendance bonus as appreciation for your 100% reliability.
This is a rewarding role working as part of a team to provide transport for children and adults with special needs.
There is an ongoing need as our service expands so we would encourage you to apply if you live anywhere within the London Borough of Sutton.
An enhanced DBS, first aid certification and safeguarding level 1 are required for this role. If you do not currently meet these requirements but feel that you are suitable for this position please apply and we will arrange these for you.
