Agrifac UK are currently recruiting for an Agrifac Parts Manager to join our After Sales Department. Based at our Head Office in March, Cambridgeshire, this position has responsibility for the Parts Department and Parts Team.
About the Role
Agrifac is building the best-in-class aftersales organisation. The Parts Manager will service our National customer base for all self-propelled crop spraying parts and assist with technical parts advice.
Our service department is a customer driven organisation. To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated, able to work alone and as part of a team with a flexible approach. The Parts Manager will enable a seamless transition from an urgent service need into a pro-active maintenance-based service organisation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for driving company parts strategies with purchasing, stocking and marketing, working towards pre-determined financial targets
- Responsibility of the day-to-day management of the Parts department
- Co-ordinate parts assistance to customers and service engineers by telephone, e-mail or in person. This is especially important during busy peak times
- Assist with the development of the parts team, location stock level and quality and general service level
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
- Relevant experience within parts management in a retail environment
- Knowledge and experience using IBCOS
- A good understanding of MS Office products
- Strong teamwork skills
- A high level of customer and service awareness
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- A good understanding of agricultural machinery would be beneficial
- Willingness to work unsociable hours during peak periods is essential, due to the industry
