We are looking for a Parts Assistant to join our Inverness team. This is a busy role, where the successful candidate will have the perfect opportunity to gain fantastic experience from a supportive hardworking team.

The ideal person will be able to work in an organised & methodical manner in a fast-moving environment, ensuring that all daily tasks are completed. Effectively communicating with customers and colleagues, identifying customers’ needs & proposing appropriate solutions. We are looking for someone team oriented, with attention to detail, a friendly and helpful nature and the desire to deliver excellent customer service alongside our fantastic parts team!


  • Ensure customer orders are taken and supplied to the correct specification

  • Organise the route, loading and delivery of parts to meet customer requirements.

  • Collect/exchange unwanted parts as and when requested, Documenting and supervising the condition of parts returned for credit including old unit cores and reporting damaged or unsuitable items to the Parts Supervisor.

  • Accurate recording of proof of delivery and completion of return notes.

  • Pro-actively sell parts to the customer.

  • Ensure company vehicles are clean, tidy and legally maintained in line with Volvo Dealer operating standards.

  • Ensuring that all parts and old units returned are labelled and packed properly and all relevant paperwork correctly completed.

  • Actively build good customer relationships.
