To support the After Sales / Service team in managing Parts Department, to achieve targeted profitability, linked to maximum customer satisfaction.
Purpose of job:
To support the After Sales / Service team in managing Parts Department, to achieve targeted profitability, linked to maximum customer satisfaction.
Shift Pattern:
Earlies: 7:30 - 16:30
Lates: 8.30 - 5.30
Saturday: 8.30 - 12:30 ( 1 in every 2)
Main Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Using the Company’s data management system (currently UCS Power) to order and record parts required to provide customer satisfaction and correct costing.
- To source and identify competitive prices on outside sales, to maintain stock levels, whilst implementing and maintaining good housekeeping practices
- Achieve targets in terms of sales, costs and profitability set by the dealership.
- Maintain a clean and tidy department, with all parts in their appropriate locations.
- Process orders and requests in a timely manner by following documented procedures.
- Handle, protect and package parts, inspect incoming and outgoing parts,
- Control purchasing invoicing, cash and credit control in line with dealership procedure,
- Implement Dealer Quality System in the Parts Department,
- Maintain a good working relationship with all members of staff and customers, promoting high levels of customer satisfaction.
- To achieve targeted objectives in terms of parts costs and profitability.
- To ensure all requests and orders are processed.
- To ensure parts sold or issued are charged to appropriate invoices or job cards at correct prices,
- To ensure all parts are protected and inspected at all times.
- To follow purchasing, invoicing, cash and credit control procedures.
- To proactively work with and support all departments within the dealership, promoting all services the dealership offers to customers.
- To provide a high level of safety in the Parts Department, through compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.
- To ensure all non- conformances receive the required corrective action and implement preventative action in a timely manner.
- To exceed premier customer satisfaction levels
Education:
Educated to degree or equivalent level.
Experience:
Desirable - Experience working within the motor trade
Skills:
Numerate and PC literate. MS Office
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
