Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for an influential and collaborative individual to join us as a Partnerships Manager on our GSK partnership, our largest and most strategic corporate partnership, with proven experience in either corporate partnerships, the commercial sector, or partnerships more widely. This is a 10 months FTC.

About you

In this role, you will develop and deliver growth strategies for the partnership leveraging resources to support the achievement of partnership goals, monitor progress and evaluate benefits.

You will join an ambitious team that is working to deliver revenue of around £14 million this year and achieve a significant impact for children's lives across the globe. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on workstreams of a unique, high-value, strategic partnership that raises significant funds for children around the world, whilst delivering wider value for Save the Children.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a manager and main contact point for key GSK partnership work streams, ensuring the full potential of the partnership is maximised.
  • Manage, develop, and deliver ambitious partnership strategies through targets and KPIs.
  • Work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders to devise creative and innovative campaigns and activations.
  • Steward key external and internal stakeholders and build strong relationships to ensure the partnership is managed effectively.
  • Confidently negotiate and creatively problem solve whilst managing expectations and risk.

To be successful, it is important that you have:

  • A growth mindset to drive forward progress with vision, energy, creativity and in a proactive nature. Strong communication skills combined with strong project management, organisational and relationship building skills.
  • You will also have solid experience of managing complex partnerships, or within the commercial sector, to demonstrate the key elements required to succeed in this role.
  • Experience in, or a strong desire and willingness to learn about international development.
  • Experience in managing growth opportunities/sales pipeline, with solid outcomes and results.
  • Ability to focus on the achievement of financial targets and views issues in terms of costs, profits, markets and added values.

Ways of Working:

Remote First – The majority of our roles can be performed remotely, however you may work from the office as often as you wish. Whilst you will be predominantly working from home, we may at times require you to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter). Note: This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team. This is intended to be time spent on collaborating with colleagues and relationship building.


On-site – There are certain roles that cannot be performed remotely and so your role will be based in an office location and you may occasionally be able to work from home.
