About Cool Earth
Cool Earth exists to back people to protect rainforest and fight the climate crisis.
We believe that the state of the rainforest will continue to worsen if indigenous peoples and local communities continue to be marginalised. Whilst these people comprise less than 5% of the world’s population, they manage or have rights to 25% of the Earth’s land area and protect an estimated 80% of global biodiversity. Cool
Earth delivers programmes and has developed networks in the three largest expanses of rainforest in the world: the Amazon, the New Guinea forest and the
Congo Basin.
The most effective way to fight back is to protect the best carbon-storing technology that already exists: rainforest. And the best way to do that? Back, support, and listen to the people living there.
About the role
We are looking for a driven, engaging and proactive Partnerships Executive to provide high-level stewardship for partners across a range of activities to retain, renew and grow income, and contribute to a growing product portfolio for businesses supporting Cool Earth’s strategic goals.
The team manages a diverse portfolio of partnerships from long-term strategic partnerships to Charity of the Year relationships, gifts-in-kind, and cause-related marketing opportunities.
The successful candidate will have significant fundraising or b2b experience, thrive in relationship management and successfully steward accounts. High-level account management is a key focus of this role, to facilitate partnership plans and associated multi-channel strategic communications across a range of sectors and coordinating partners across the globe.
This role sits within our Fundraising and Engagement team, reporting to the
Partnerships Manager.
As the key focus of this role is account management, the location for this role is flexible. However, please note that the role involves regular travel to London and across the UK to visit partners and attend pitches, meetings and events alongside infrequent travel to the UK office in Penryn, Cornwall. Therefore being based near to
London would be an advantage.
