Partnerships & Affiliate Executive - 9 months FTC (up to £30,000)

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to come and join Immediate Media’s Commerce Team of the Year 2022 as a Partnerships & Affiliate Executive. You’ll work in a central team across Immediate Media’s exciting portfolio of award-winning media brands including Radio Times, BBC Good Food, BBC Gardeners’ World, MadeForMums. You’ll help to grow eCommerce revenue by developing profitable and high performing long-term partnerships with merchants across all of our sectors on a combination of CPA and fixed fee payment models.
As a Partnerships & Affiliates Executive you will;
- Develop new affiliate relationships with merchants, either directly or through affiliate agencies and networks
- Maintain existing affiliate relationships with merchants, dealing with incoming enquiries and spotting good opportunities for collaboration
- Negotiate best in market rate CPA rates with key retailers
- Growing tenancy revenue from sponsored placements
- Work tactically with merchants to offer campaigns that will drive meaningful results (online sales) for them, as well as revenue to Immediate
- Client meetings, outbound calls and updating salesforce will be part of your weekly activity
- Ultimately you’ll be responsible for representing Immediate Media’s eCommerce team to all external stakeholders, including direct advertisers, agencies and affiliate networks
Requirements
- You'll ideally have at least one to two years’ experience in sales. Experience within digital partnerships or the performance marketing industry, would be advantageous
- Comfortable leading sales calls and pitches
- Drive for results - You always push yourself and others to deliver the best results and you’re comfortable working to targets and you always set your sights high and aim to over deliver
- Building relationships - You actively listen to client’s needs, and you understand the need to prioritise the long-term commercial relationship over smaller short-term gains
- Organisation and management - You take responsibility for your own pipeline and can manage peaks and troughs in your workload. You understand the importance of good communication, both internally and externally
- Action orientated: You’re positive, energetic and you enjoy working hard for an idea you believe in
