Who We Are
The Academic Partnership Unit (APU) at Coventry University works across the University Group to identify, develop and support academic collaborations between Coventry University and its growing partner network, both in the UK and around the world. Providing extensive support to our partners, the APU primarily helps to facilitate the development, management and delivery of academic programmes jointly with overseas education providers. Our team is part way towards achieving a growth phase that includes the realisation of ambitious targets for further expanding the scale of our activity, and enhancing still further our position as a leading university in the delivery of TNE. To achieve further growth and increase our presence worldwide, we are looking to appoint two Partnership Officers.
Who You Are
As a member of the Partnership Management Team, you will work under the immediate direction of a Partnership Manager. You will work closely with a Partnership Manager to support a portfolio of partnerships, but also manage your own partnership portfolio. The post holder will have responsibility for contributing to effective liaison, co-operation and support between partners and faculties/subsidiaries, as well as colleagues within the APU.
A key aspect of the role will be to ensure that service delivery costs are closely controlled, without hindering student satisfaction and/or academic quality. Other key attributes include;
- Broad experience within the HE sector (recruitment, marketing and partnership management) along with knowledge of quality assurance frameworks, domestically and internationally
- Good administrative and organisational skills with a commitment to delivering high quality services to students and partners
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both individual and group situations
- Flexible approach to working hours and location, including a willingness to travel, locally, nationally or overseas, as required.
