Why this job matters
This role is pivotal to enabling the Digital strategy and plans to be delivered as the role will provide proactive monitoring of vendor performance (MTTI and MTTR), triage and service improvement plans. We support the Digital unit whilst working with their partners to hold them to account to meet their performance standards, unblocking issues with them, whilst challenging to maximise the balance of value and performance.
What you’ll be doing
- Proactive monitoring of vendor performance (MTTI and MTTR), triage and service improvement plans, commercial Manages vendor portfolio through multiple lenses (operational, regulatory, legal, reputational, IT security risk etc.)
- Working with partners to hold them to account to meet their performance standards, unblocking issues with them, whilst challenging to maximise the balance of value and performance.
- Managing and developing opportunities with our partners with key focuses on productivity and growth
- Building long term sustainable opportunities to enhance customer value across our partnerships
- Developing pipeline of opportunities through to realisation of savings.
- Working with our stakeholders across the business to showcase and support improvements.
- Owning strategic relationships with our delivery partners and business partnering with our Sales, Legal, Procurement, Operations and Compliance areas of the business.
You'll have the following skills and experience
- Commercial awareness / contractual compliance is critical for this role
- Stakeholder Management: Able to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships and facilitates mutually beneficial negotiations to develop solutions, ensuring they meet current and emerging business and technical needs.
- Ability to navigate and interact with many teams across multiple CFU’s: drive collaboration and negotiation.
- Excellent communicator capable of engaging and influencing leaders across all Digital and external partners.
- Data-driven decision-making: Strong analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in complex procurement data sets, informing strategic sourcing decisions.
- Data first mindset, defining a sustainable ecosystem to manage, manipulate and provide insight and information to all of Digital on a self-serve basis.
- Change delivery: Able to define and implement long term changes and adapt for the optimum solution.
