Role Responsibilities

The EMEA Account Management team is responsible for the handling of all existing client and EMEA partner accounts. These accounts have the potential to make up a significant percentage of company turnover and provide advocacy for Impero services.


As a Partner Account Manager you will be responsible for driving sales through partners to grow sales and achieve mutually agreed objectives. You will be responsible for maximising opportunities from existing partners and finding new routes to market in your given territory.


The Partner Account Manager will be assigned a territory of EMEA countries including the DACH region and will be the primary contact for a set of dedicated existing partners in region. Your goal will be to develop new business opportunities within your region as well as ensuring existing customers renew their services with us.


Supported by the Head of Account Management and the Sales Director, you will be responsible for creating a regional business plan to build productive and profitable relationships with both existing and new partners. You will build and manage your own sales pipeline in the company CRM system. You will collaborate with our Global Sales, Marketing, Product and Support Teams.


You shall be responsible for:

    • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
    • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
    • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
    • Measure partner performance against plan and drive business accordingly.
    • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
    • Sells through partner organisations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
    • Manages potential channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
    • Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
    • Provide product demonstrations and training to partners and customers.
    • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements
    • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners. Proactively recruits new qualifying partners.
    • Manages all aspects of sales from developing the opportunity through to closing the order in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
    • Contributes to regional marketing plans.
    • Demonstrates deep understanding of different regional needs and how Impero solves their problems.
    • Gather customer feedback and inform product team of feature requests.
    • Retain customers at renewal point.

  • Proven experience of managing and developing partner channels to market
    • Experience of working towards new business revenue quota’s
    • Track record of creating and closing business
    • Able to manage own time and are a self-starter
    • Experience of working with Education and / or SAAS based software preferred but not essential
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
    • Embraces change with a positive attitude
    • Fluent in German and English

This role is either UK or Romania home-based / remote-working. We have offices in Nottingham and Bucharest and you will be required to travel to the Nottingham/Bucharest office for regular sales team meetings.
