Part-Time Waste Collections Operatives: Ref: EE08822
Salary: Grade G4 (Pro-rata) £10,984 - £12,027 per annum plus 10% unsociable hours payment
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Highways Transport and Operations are seeking to recruit Part-Time Waste Collections Operatives to work within our Waste and Street Cleansing services.
The role involves keeping the streets clean by collecting litter from bins and litter picking in town centres. There may be occasional waste collection duties. If you're familiar with Walsall and have experience in street cleansing and waste services, this would be an advantage.
We are seeking individuals who can accommodate the physical demands relating to the waste collections and street cleansing industry and think they can help us provide a key service to the public of Walsall.
The role requires applicants to have an understanding of and the ability to provide high-quality customer service.

Hours of work:
18.5 hours – Primarily Saturday and Sunday working, but employees will be considered as Monday to Sunday workers, and their working pattern could change with consultation.
The working day will be 9.25 hours with a 45 minute break. Start time will vary between 06:00 and 08:00 and will be agreed with each successful candidate. Due to working Sunday, the role will attract a 10% increase in salary as an unsociable hours payment.
This position is required to work in accordance with local arrangements across clean and green operations. Annualised hour contract with annual leave commitments calculated in hours.

Qualifications:
