Teaching Assistants- Part-time
3D Recruit is seeking two Teaching Assistants to work part-time at a Primary school near to Milton Keynes. The school is well resourced, with large grounds to facilitate outdoor learning. It with was rated Outstanding at their last Ofsted inspection.
About the job
Position 1:
- Working hours from 8:30 to 12:00 from Monday to Friday
- Giving 1:1 support to a child in Year 1 who has an EHCP
- Working with the teacher and third-party professionals to help the child to develop their speech and language skills
Position 2:
- Working hours from 8:30 to 13:00- including lunch duty from 12:00 until 13:00- Monday to Friday
- Helping to support children in Year 6 as they work towards their Year 6 SATS exams
- Will involve targeted group/1:1 support, particularly in maths and literacy
Who we are looking for:
Position 1:
- Prior experience of supporting children or adults with SEN
- Ability to use a range of strategies to support children
- Ability to build rapport easily with others
Position 2:
- Strong subject knowledge- particularly in literacy and maths
- Prior teaching assistant or school-based experience
- C grades or equivalent in GCSE maths and English
Requirements:
