Job purpose
- To support the store management in meeting or exceeding store sales target
- To work with the store management to achieve brand standard in customer service and selling, product presentation and merchandising
Position in the organisation
- Reports directly to: Store manager
- In his absence, replaces: Sales Specialist
Result field 1.
- To support the store management in meeting or exceeding store sales target
- Initiate contact with the customer in the store and help the customer feel welcome.
- Ensure all cash handling is accurate, while facilitating a superior checkout experience
Result field 2.
- To work with the store management to achieve brand standard in customer service and selling
- Drive the selling efforts and customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service and selling techniques.
- Assess the needs of the customer and provide the appropriate level of service and product expertise.
- Use effective communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships
Result field 3.
- To work with the store management to achieve brand standard in product presentation and merchandising
- Ensuring all visual standards are followed, daily restock is completed and adequate size runs are represented per brand standards.
- Manage back of house operations and share in the cleaning duties of the store where required.
- You will be responsible for assisting in other store functions as needed.
- If necessary, performs other work when asked.

Job requirements
- Must have or be pursuing a High School diploma or GED.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Excellent skills needed in communication (written & oral), teamwork, flexibility, pro-activeness, stress resistance.
- Physical requirements include twisting, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder and standing for extended periods of time.
- Able to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to perform basic math functions.
- General knowledge of OT products is preferred.
