Part-Time Residential Support Worker Zero hours contract. Various hourly rates starting from £10.42-12.50

With several homes in Northampton and Wellingborough, we are a 24/7 Supported Accommodation provider for young people (aged 16 19) who are care experienced, supporting them to achieve full independence and living independently.

We are looking to recruit a part-time Residential Support Worker to join our growing team to enhance our commitment to providing high quality care and support as our young people develop their life skills.

We are a friendly and professional team that brings a family feeling into our workplace, where we support young people in our large, shared homes and more independent young people in our floating support homes.

The ideal candidates will have experience working in residential social care and possess the desire to help young people develop independent routines, key life skills as well as enhancing their engagement in education, employment, and training.

You must be confident, empathetic, creative and have a good understanding of care experienced young people needs, in order to help give the support they need, whilst mentoring them to make safe and real world decisions.

Knowledge of safeguarding children and young people and vulnerable adults is an advantage although full training will be provided.

Typically a part time support worker would be needed for the following shifts:

Twilight (5-10pm) All days.
Weekend shift (12pm-10pm or 8am-8pm)
Weekday Shift (8am-8pm)
Ad hoc flexi-shift (As required - 2 hours minimum)

Enhanced rates of pay for bank holidays.

This role includes off site, out-in-the-community accompaniment of young people. Some driving may be required for those who hold a full UK licence.
