Part time Product Test, Design and Development Engineer London, England
Job description
TUK is a successful and growing Datacomms manufacturer; we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic new member of staff to join our team. In this role you will assist with product design and development tasks under the management of the MD. The ideal candidate is:
· A student studying product design, engineering or a similar subject in London.
· Is aware of CAD and is able to produce basic 3D drawings
· Has an understanding of/interest in connectivity, electronics or electrical products
· Motivated
· Reliable
· Enthusiastic about their work
· Good interpersonal skills
· Willing to work hard and contribute as part of a small team
· A self-starter
· Has good attention to detail
· Lives within 45 minutes of SW17 0BA
Tasks that will be expected of you include but are not limited to:
1. Creating and drawing new product designs
2. Testing new and existing products
3. Creating and testing product enhancements
4. Creating and testing packaging enhancements
This role is aimed at students, but we welcome applications from anyone who would make a meaningful contribution in this area.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8 hours (1 day a week)
Salary: £12.75 per hour
