The Hawthorns Northampton are currently recruiting for a creative, dedicated and enthusiastic team players to join us as Kitchen Assistants. As Kitchen Assistant, you will help serve meals and clear dishes at residents’ tables and prepare, wash, and store dishes, as well as keeping the kitchen clean
This role is to support annual leave and sickness, plus a scheduled rota of 6 hours per week.
The key responsibilities of our Kitchen Assistant include:
- £9.54 per hour
- Assist Chefs in cleaning food serving areas and equipment including deep cleaning on a regular basis.
- Assist chef with food preparation.
- Lay tables for the next meal.
- Work as part of the Food Service Team to ensure smooth, efficient and safe operation of the kitchen.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all residents, family, visitors and colleagues.
