Job description
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-time Daycare Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients' dogs and their owners as they arrive at our daycare facility.
- Ensure that dogs are comfortable, happy and safe in daycare.
- Monitor the dogs during playtime and ensure that they are playing nicely with each other.
- Clean up after the dogs as needed and maintain a clean and safe environment for them.
- Administer medication to dogs as needed and in accordance with instructions provided by the owner.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior experience working with dogs is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- A love of dogs and commitment to their well-being.
- Ideally have a driving license as there are no nearby transport links to our facility.
This is a part-time position with the potential for additional hours as we go through peak time of the year. The salary is pro rata and starts at £22k pa.
