Do you have the ability to work in a niche and sometimes challenging environment? You'll be working alongside the Police in custody suites caring for detainees. You must have the flexibly work not only in your base Custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area. What does the role involve? Custody suites can be an energetic place to work, with no two shifts the same. Whilst detained, we provide individuals with all their physical, mental healthcare and wellbeing needs, as well as gather any forensic samples needed by the police to aid their investigations. Making careful records you'll be assessing whether people are fit to be detained or released, administering medications when needed, and working with local Liaison and Diversion teams to address root cause issues that can actually prevent future crime. Salary of £20,000 on a rotating shift pattern, scheduled for 2 years ahead so you can plan your life. (Averages 21 hours per week). You'll be a qualified RN Adult, RMN's (with dual registration), RGNs or Paramedics Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service) as an Adult RN or Registered Paramedic Autonomous practice - showing strong and confident decision-making skills.
