Qualifications & Training:
- Essential: University-educated with excellent command of English in verbal and written communication.
- Desirable: Applicants from education-related degrees and/or academic interest in improving education via dissertation or thesis
Qualities & Attitudes:
- Essential: Interest in pedagogy, pro-active in planning to achieve goals, naturally strategic, able to see how different parts of projects interlink
- Desirable: experience of working as a team to implement local, national or international projects e.g. experience of being in leadership positions of university society societies.
Competencies:
- Planning, organisation and working to tight deadlines
- Problem-solving and resourcefulness
- Strategic thinking, quickly understanding the context for projects

Job Specific Duties:
Social Media & Marketing Officer
- Develop and implement strategies to grow social media following
- Design and publish visually appealing campaigns, posters, brochures and videos
- Convert newsletters and Mailchimp campaigns into social media posts.
IT & Website Support Officer
- Build, refine and update our online platforms including website domains, shared drives, and registration processes
- Assist in troubleshooting tech issues and online account management
- Develop and implement strategies to increase website traffic
Virtual Academy Project Assistant
- Oversee delivery and weekly management of online courses and assist in the planning of other existing or new projects
- Coordinate feedback, briefing and online correspondence between schools, teachers and students
- Create feedback mechanisms, analyse responses and report on feedback to senior management
Finance Officer
- Monthly entries into the company accounts ledger, analysing transactions and documenting receipts as evidence against transactions.
- Monitoring monthly, quarterly and 12-month income totals.
- Preparing company accounts for review by senior team and accountant to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.

Salary: £9.51-£10.91 per hour
