Part Time Bar + Floor Staff
Must be 18+, must be available to work weekends and evenings.
The Glee Club is a successful comedy club situated in Cardiff Bay. As well as comedy, we host music, drag shows, cabaret and more.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our bar and floor staff team for on average 1 - 3 shifts a week. During the summer months we are quieter but shifts pick up from September. We are looking for someone who is willing to be cross trained and can work on both departments.
Pay: £11.10 ph + tips and a bonus scheme, paid 4 weekly.
Job role : Bar
- Read tickets and make drinks efficiently and accurately.
- Clean, set up and close down bar to a high standard.
- Help floor team take out drinks orders to tables.
- Collect glasses from floor.
- Maintain high standards on the bar during service.

- Dealing with customer issues effectively
- Read tickets and take correct food to correct tables efficiently
- Clean, set up and pack away floor safely and efficiently
- Serve drinks orders to tables. Tray work
- Collect empty plates and glasses from floor in intervals.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in kitchen and wash up area
Things to know:
- Shifts start between 5pm - 6.30pm and generally finish between 10.30pm and 11.30pm.
- We don't provide transport home but are happy to allow you to leave to get public transport.
- Due to the nature of our service model the first hour of the shift can be quite intense so an ability to work well under pressure is a must. We aim to serve all of our customers (up to 450 people) before the show starts. We then have intervals where the bar picks up again.
