Caterpillar Playhouse In home Licensed Childcare Assistant Looking to hire a part-time, friendly, energetic person to join Caterpillar Playhouse. I am a State of Michigan licensed childcare home located four miles north of Breckenridge. I am licensed for up to 14 children with ages ranging from newborn to school age. I have been caring for children in my home for 14 years. This position requires teamwork and the ability to work with others especially children. Must be dependable, caring, responsible and capable of providing supervision while always ensuring the safety of the children. Qualifications- Must be 21 or older Prior experience working with children of any age Must be flexible Hours vary. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 3pm-5:30pm, Wednesdays all day. Cover other employees’ days off. Approximately 15 hours. Must have First Aid/CPR certificate or be willing to attend training. Must have medical form filled out by your physician Must complete TB testing Must complete and pass a background check Must be willing to attend yearly childcare training Capable of multitasking Capable of supervising and encouraging children during play to enhance their learning Willing to perform duties both inside and outside (weather permitting) Must follow state licensed rules and regulations Excellent attendance a must. *if hired, children of the applicant are not able to attend at this time Salary based on experience. $13.50 per hour. 90 day evaluation with opportunity for a wage increase.
