Contract: Full time, part time & flexible

Responsibilities
As the Parking and Traffic Order Technician you’ll be working within the Asset & Professional Services team, supporting the continual review of Northamptonshire’s parking restrictions and traffic regulations orders.
Your day to day will include:
- Delivering the annual rolling programme, reviewing all existing parking restrictions, requests for additional parking restrictions or changes to existing in liaison with the Parking & Traffic Regulation Order Officer
- Investigate appropriate parking control improvements, including public consultations and the progression and implementation of scheme where appropriate, in accordance with the annual rolling review programme
- Produce consultation materials, undertaking site surveys, displaying public notices, populating data bases and any other duties required
- Maintain parking records to meet organisational and statutory requirements with a view to updating Parkmap software
- Producing detailed reports following consultation of reviews including recommending actions to the clients

- Use Microsoft Office and similar packages
- Hold a full driving licence
- Follow a set legal procedure and work in an organised and methodical manner
