Parenting Programme Facilitator – Planning Together For Children
Hours: flexible, sessional and permanent contracts available
Salary: hourly rate £13.65 or the equivalent within a permanent contract
Location: Remote delivery plus some face to face in the community.
We are particularly, though not exclusively, looking for individuals living in the following areas: Sussex, Surrey, West Yorkshire, Sheffield, Wirral and Cheshire
Essential qualifications: Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or equivalent teaching/lifelong learning qualification.

Family Action is currently an established and very successful provider of CAFCASS’s SPIP (Separated Parent Information Programme). From April 2023 Family Action will be subcontracted by Action for Children to deliver the CAFCASS commissioned Planning Together For Children programme which is replacing SPIP. This is a national programme.
Planning Together For Children consists of three parts. Initial elearning, a 2½ hour group programme and follow up phone calls to parents to gain feedback, assess impact and provide any further signposting. The programme is delivered to parents who are going through separation, which in the majority of cases is being overseen by the Courts.
Your impact
Working with the wider team you will provide support for and deliver the group programme and follow up calls to parents. You will be promoting a positive coparenting approach, including the use of the Parenting Plan and enabling parents to better understand the impact of their separation on their children, encouraging them to put their children at the centre of their communication with their ex partner.
Your skills
To join us as a facilitator you will be highly motivated, an experienced facilitator and client focused. You will enjoy being a part of an established team of facilitators who actively participate in regular supervision and team meetings.
You’ll be an effective communicator who excels at quickly building trusting with parents who are currently experiencing conflict in their relationship.
