Location: Wellingborough - NN8 2DH
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Sun-Thurs Nights 40hrs per week (22:00-06:00)

Role Purpose:
- To plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of a team; providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training & development.
- The key purpose of the role is to direct the work of the team in a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment, to achieve customer and business KPIs. This includes ensuring staff are trained adequately for their role, documenting of work instructions, development of staff, performance management of individuals / team, escalating issues where required and participation in site cabinets including, but not limited to, EOS, Quality & H&S , OMS
Accountabilities:
- Team Management
- Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
- Ownership of daily operational activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members
- Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate
- Manage the development & performance feedback sessions with their team via PDPs & monthly One to Ones
- Facilitate effective communication
- Manage all disciplinary and grievance issues (complaints) in line with HR policy to the level of written warning
- Understand & comply with CAPA methodologies, ensuring accurate work instructions are available for all tasks
- Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced
- Work in collaboration with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice
