Paramedic 37.5 Hours per Week or Part Time – Duel Working in Community and Primary Care Accepted
We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and innovative Paramedic, to join the Caversham Primary Care Network, working for a high performing Caversham surgery.
You will be based at Balmore Park Surgery and the role will involve working closely with an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, large GP Team, Mental Health Practitioner and Pharmacists as part of our Urgent Care Service. The post holder will triage, see patients within the surgery and visit patients in their place of residence. They will see those who present with a wide range of minor illness and who have urgent and same day requests. They will also be responsible for creating and updating care plans for our frail and vulnerable patients.
Balmore Park Surgery is a supportive training practice, consisting of, 13 GPs, a large multidisciplinary clinical team, and a large administrative support team.
The successful candidate will need to be a qualified HCPC Paramedic with a full UK driving licence. An advanced Paramedic Practitioner with the ability to independently prescribe would be advantageous but not essential. Experience in Primary care would be preferred but not essential.
The role is pivotal to improving the quality of care and operational efficiencies within the surgery, and so requires motivation and passion to deliver excellent service within general practice.
This role could suit a clinician who wants to continue working out in the community and simultaneously in general practice, so maintaining existing skills alongside learning those used in Primary Care.
An enhanced DBS check will be carried out before the appointment of the successful candidate.
Salary : Negotiable
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-37.5 per week
Salary: £35,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
