Our Real Estate Finance team is dedicated to the needs of short term lenders. A vibrant and energetic work environment within our specialisation we have gained a reputation for speed, pragmatism and reliability.
The team has expertise across a variety of lending products, focusing predominantly on various forms of short term and bridging finance.
We collaborate closely with our lender clients to provide straightforward, relevant advice. We tailor our services to be solution-led, commercially minded and flexible to the requirements of a specific matter.
Please note that there is a requirement for the successful candidate to be in the offices 4 days a week.
What can you expect?
We are seeking an experienced paralegal with a genuine interest in real estate finance work. The ability to prioritise what is at times a challenging workload, and to work under pressure, are key skills within the role. For the right candidate, this role offers real career progression and the opportunity to qualify into the team at a later stage.
Your role is to support the Real Estate Finance team on a wide range of matters including;
- Making initial contact with Borrower's solicitors and clients, issuing our pre-loan enquiries forms;
- Drafting loan documentation for a range of clients on a variety of deals and issuing this to Borrowers for signature;
- Playing a role in the successful completion of transactions, facilitating the receipt and payment of monies from our clients to Borrowers and conducting pre-completion checks and searches on Borrowers;
- Communicating effectively with both clients and fee earners to assist in the facilitation of completing deals; and
- General administrative duties such as payment of broker fees, client fees and assisting in matters related to post-completion.
A bit about you
- Undergraduate law degree (2:1)
- Previous experience in real estate work or/and property would be an advantage, but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, keen and proactive
- Must be self-motivated
