The Del Grande Dealer Group is looking for a high-achieving and driven legal assistant and compliance candidate with a desire to continue building their current skillset in the realm of automotive retail. The Corporate Paralegal/Legal Assistant will assist the Chief Strategy Officer and DGDG Leadership Team with all legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, compliance efforts, contracts, litigation, intellectual property, corporate structure and OEM programs. Responsibilities will also include project management work involving facility construction and remodels.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Corporate Paralegal/Legal Assistant will be working on key work streams in the following areas:
- Acquisitions: Supporting acquisition efforts from start to finish which includes work on letters of intent, asset purchase agreement, supporting documentation, due diligence, OEM documentation, and coordinating all necessary closing items.
- Compliance: Working closely with DGDG Leadership Team and outside counsel and consultants to track and manage compliance throughout the organization, ensuring that the company and its employees comply with state and federal regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Contracts: Coordinate review, structure and processing of company contracts.
- Litigation: Support Chief Strategy Officer in working with outside counsel to respond and track litigation matters by providing assistance in preparing legal documents; responding to discovery requests; prepare drafts of documents; maintain responsibility for files, calendars and meetings, etc.
- IP, Corporate Structure and OEM programs: Organize and manage various legal components of IP, Corporate Structure and OEM program efforts.
- Project Management: Coordinate, monitor and track progress of various projects, including facility remodels and renovations.
We are seeking a candidate with paralegal/legal assistant experience and strong organizational/communication skills. A successful candidate will have a perpetual curiosity for a dynamic business and be looking for an opportunity with C-level exposure and must have a desire to continue to grow in their career.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years experience as a paralegal and/or legal assistant
- Organizational skills to work independently and meet deadlines in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions
- Communication skills to interact with all levels of internal staff, attorneys and management and external clients
- Analytical and critical thinking skills sufficient to make decisions regarding daily work
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Professional presence and ability to cultivate C-level relationships
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, Paralegal Certification a plus
Salary: $65-90K/annually
