We are seeking a Junior Licensed Paralegal with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail to manage cases, conduct research, draft documents and represent landlords in LTB hearings.

The Role

· Preparing all necessary LTB forms (N4, L1, etc.)

· Filling and following up on LTB applications and notices.

· Receiving, documenting, and filing all communications from LTB regarding outcomes of hearings.

· Following up on all Orders

· Completing additional related accounting duties and administration

· Filling and following up on LTB applications and notices.

· Responsible for handling Small Claims and Landlord Tenant matters

· Preparing files for collections and liaising with Collection Agencies as required

· Being a primary point of contact for other team members regarding tenant legal issues

· Communicate with the property administrators.

· Forwarding documents and liaising with the Enforcement Office in order to enforce evictions.

Requirements

· Excellent workplace knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Board

· Licensed Junior Paralegal

· Strong organization skills and attention to detail

· Attention to detail and self-motivated.

· Strong ethics

· Knowledge of accounting

· Experience with the Landlord and Tenant Board

· Excellent computer skills including a high degree of proficiency in MS Office applications.

· Occasional travel is required for LTB hearings in various locations (if required)

· Must have vehicle.

Schedule – 7.5-hour shift

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
