Position Summary
The Global Legal, Privacy & Compliance Office of Teleperformance is now recruiting top class candidates for its Paralegal/Trainee Solicitor Programme, where you will be working on major global privacy and compliance risk projects across Teleperformance and its affiliates. Our in-house lawyers are leaders in their field and are looking for individuals who are proactive, ambitious, and driven to join their team. You will be supported in gaining experience by the Global Legal, Privacy & Compliance Managers and the Director – Privacy & Compliance Risk and will be working directly with the Privacy & Regulatory Compliance Officers on some of our biggest international projects.
This role of Paralegal is part of the Paralegal & Trainee Solicitor programme for Teleperformance. The ideal candidate would be an individual seeking to gain relevant experience in law relating to privacy, technology, risk management and digital innovation.
The role of Paralegal, based on performance, also has the chance to apply to undertake a Training Contract in-house.

Primary Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements
The Paralegal will be working with the Global Legal, Privacy & Compliance Office Managers on global implementation of projects across the Group, such as: ISO 27701; Third-Party Risk Management and Records Management.
Tasks may include (training provided):
- Assist in carrying out reviews of responses to technology, privacy, infosec risk assessments and DPIAs against inherent and residual risk.
- Reviewing Data Protection Addendums and contract terms against GDPR and global contracting requirements.
- Assisting with maintenance of the ISO 27701 Privacy Information Management globally, Third-Party Risk Management and Data Records Management. Soon this may also include working on implementation of ISO 37301 (Compliance) and ISO 37001 (Anti-Corruption).
- Reviewing policies and ensuring GDPR and privacy law compliance.
- Attending meetings and committees led by members of the privacy office and providing minutes and actions for review.
Requirements
- strong academic background (2.1 or above)
- completed LPC (Legal Practice Course)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a variety of internal audiences
- Native level English speaker
Desirable
- Interest in law relating to new technology, privacy & innovation
- Interest in compliance risk management methodologies, such as privacy risk, Third-Party Risk, and privacy impact assessments
- LLM

Duration: The initial period will be 1 year with opportunity to extend.
As this is part of an ongoing legal programme within the Global Legal, Privacy & Compliance Office, there is potential to be extended for additional periods including the Training Contract.
