As a boutique law firm based in the City of London we are currently looking for a LLB, LPC or GDL graduate to work as a paralegal in one of the following departments

1. Secured Lending Property department;

2. Litigation department;

3. Insolvency department.

Training will be provided and so whilst no experience is required, it would be preferable.

The litigation and insolvency roles will include include administrative duties including opening files, preparing retainer letters, legal research, debt recovery, court clerking and note taking at client meetings and court hearings in addition to preparing court bundles and other documents.

The property role will include administrative duties including opening files, dealing with high net worth clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors at every stage of transaction from initial instruction to completion. Implementing searches and raising pre-contract enquiries. Dealing with post completion matters including registration and sending deeds to clients/bank/building societies and closing files. Conducting title checks for both freehold and leasehold properties

A minimum of a 2.1 on your degree is required for this role. You must have excellent communication skills, be confident and dynamic in your manner and be proactive. To apply for this role please send your CV together with a covering letter specifying which paralegal role you are applying for.
