ActionAid UK is a member of the ActionAid Federation, an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Are you interested in how data and metrics can inform wider business decisions and projects?
Are you organised and enjoy using data and information to create clear presentations and support project activities?
Are you a confident user of the full MS Office suite, SharePoint and passionate about keeping your digital skills up to date?
Then we’d love to hear from you.
This is a great opportunity for an early career PMO Officer or someone with experience of data, insights or project administration to consolidate their experience and further develop their career.
You will support our project management and insight functions, helping to drive our programme of insight and customer research to the next level and ensure it is being utilised throughout the organisation. You’ll help ActionAid better understand our supporters, potential audiences and external trends and markets, by supporting eh delivery of market research, audience segmentation, support profiling, product research and brand tracking. The successful candidate will also provide project management support to major organisational projects, providing reporting, communications, scheduling and project evaluations support.
Our ideal candidate will be a confident user of the full MS Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ideally SharePoint, Teams and internet/email. You will also be able to demonstrate how you have taken data/information and created clear and concise reports and presentations. We’re especially keen to hear from candidates who have experience of data entry or data analysis.
This role will offer you ample opportunity to develop your communication and presentation skills with a manager that is keen to mentor and support you. You will get excellent visibility across a wide range of our departments and have lots of opportunity to further develop your digital and analytical skills.
Some things to consider:
ActionAid UK has a hybrid working policy for many of our roles. The requirement will vary from team to team and the responsibilities of individual roles. As a minimum, all colleagues are expected to attend the office 12 days per year, plus additional time for induction, training, and “Company Connection days.” Some roles may require in-office attendance on all days and if so, these will clearly be marked as in-office roles.
Please note that ActionAid UK does not offer fully remote working options. We encourage you to discuss hybrid working expectations at interview.
ActionAid is committed to supporting flexible working. If you would like to discuss flexible working options, including the possibility of a job share for this role, there will be space to do so during the interview process.
Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging are key to our organisational culture. We are on a journey to become not only an anti-racist organisation but one that proudly celebrates the diversity of all applicants and employees. We look forward to you bringing your full self to work, proudly sharing your unique perspective and helping us to shape our combined future.
Please note that ActionAid UK will review, shortlist and interview candidates prior to the closing date so we encourage all candidates to apply as soon as possible.
If we receive a very high response, we may close the vacancy early and will not accept further submissions.
