Job description
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join us on our mission to make Mental Healthcare affordable and accessible.
What you will be doing:
- Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including, partner contracts (new and renewal), vendor agreements and other legal documents as may be required by the Operations department
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics related to the company’s operations
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to provide legal support as needed
- Collaborate with external counsel to ensure the company is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Assist in the management of all legal documentation, including organising and maintaining records, files and databases
- Keep abreast of relevant laws and regulations affecting the workplace and provide guidance to stakeholders as required
- Any other tasks as may be reasonably required
What you will need to succeed:
- A degree in law or a relevant legal qualification
- Knowledge of online and digital platforms
- Knowledge of UK and international healthcare laws and regulations
- Knowledge of UK and international laws and regulations related to corporate law and contracts
- Minimum 3 years’ prior experience as a Paralegal
- Knowledge of the telehealth industry
- Experience working in a start-up
- Experience working in the telehealth industry
- Excellent drafting and writing skills, with an acute attention to detail
- Results and detail orientated with a very hands-on approach
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with project management and organizational skills
Note: Candidates will be required to travel to the London office twice per month
