We are currently seeking a Paralegal &; CEO Assistant to join our team.

As a Paralegal & CEO Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our CEO ensuring efficient contract management practices throughout the organization.

Position Overview:

As a Paralegal & CEO Assistant, you will have a dual role, assisting the CEO and providing legal support and contract management. In addition to working closely with the CEO and with project managers, external stakeholders, handling legal tasks, and providing administrative assistance to ensure smooth operations. This position requires an experienced and proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion. You will be responsible for assisting in the administration and management of contracts. As a Paralegal & CEO Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CEO and senior members of the team, ensuring seamless operations and contributing to the organization's success. You will work to mitigate risks, ensure compliance, accuracy and efficiency in contract execution. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of legal principles, strong organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail. This position offers opportunities for growth within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive paralegal support to the organisation, including legal research, document preparation, and contract management.
  • Assist the CEO with drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents, correspondence, and agreements.
  • Conduct thorough contract analysis to identify potential risks, propose necessary amendments, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation and dispute resolution.
  • Conduct research on legal and regulatory issues and provide summaries and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, contracts, and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Monitor contract milestones, deliverables, and obligations, and proactively communicate and escalate any potential issues.
  • Collaborate with external parties, such as clients, vendors, and legal counsels, to address contract-related queries and negotiate terms.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management best practices, templates, and processes.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments, external parties, and legal counsel, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact for contract-related inquiries.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist the CEO with the preparation of meeting agendas, take minutes, and ensure follow-up actions are implemented.
  • Assist the CEO with the organisation and coordination of company events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Perform general office administrative tasks such as organizing office supplies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of contract law, legal principles, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex legal and contractual issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong drafting and proofreading abilities and the ability to effectively negotiate and influence outcomes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with
  • internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Previous experience providing executive-level support is required/highly desirable.
