Job description

My client are a reputable Law Firm in Birmingham. They're looking to appoint a Paralegal to join their Criminal Law department on a full-time, permanent basis.

Hybrid working, flexibility required
Company provided laptop and phone
Training on IT systems provided
Salary between £25-35K depending on experience

You will be responsible for the litigation of a varied caseload of both public and privately funded Crown Court cases.
  • instructing internal and external Counsel
  • police station attendance (out of hours, rota basis)
  • attending to clients in and out of hours
  • use of IT systems including case management system
You will have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience with preparing cases for trial in Crown Court
  • Police Station accreditation
  • IT literacy, ability to learn new systems
  • Self-motivated, positive and proactive worker
