We are looking to add a talented Paralegal to our Commercial Litigation team to be based in Sheffield.

Our Team

The Team handles a variety of property disputes, advising both individuals and businesses in relation to:

  • Landlord & tenant disputes in respect of both commercial and residential property.
  • Breach of / misrepresentation in property sale / purchase contracts.
  • Breaches of covenant;
  • Nuisance, trespass and property damage claims;
  • Neighbour disputes;
  • Party Wall Act disputes.

Your Role

As a Paralegal in Commercial Litigation, you’ll have the chance to manage your own caseload and develop strong relationships with your own clients. You’ll need to be keen to learn and have the confidence to deal with clients right from the very beginning, being both approachable as well as efficient to resolve matters as quickly as possible for our clients. You will need to have excellent organisational and time management skills, be able to work independently and be driven to provide an excellent service to our clients. In return, we will support you in developing your knowledge and progressing your career in law.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Achieving time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitable working.
  • Working to deadlines and complying with directions / decisions made.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in relevant law and practice and attending appropriate training events to ensure up to date legal knowledge and best practice.

About You

  • A Law Degree (or equivalent)
  • A friendly, enthusiastic, and can-do approach
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ideally, some previous Paralegal experience
