We are looking to add an experienced Paralegal to our Lifestyle & Estate Planning team to be based in Newcastle.
Your Role
What You’ll be Doing
You’ll be confident with a mixture of running your own matters as well as supporting other members of the team with their work including the following:
- You’ll be confident processing client work allocated to you by your supervisors, and with managing Estate and/or Trust Administration matters including complex matters;
- You’ll be able to deal with general succession planning for clients (including advising on/ dealing with Inheritance tax (IHT) planning for clients);
- Drafting Wills including more complex wills with trusts and associated letters of wishes;
- Drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney;
- Dealing with new enquiries;
- You’ll be confident communicating with clients and colleagues; and
- You’ll be used to achieving set financial and chargeable hours targets, ensuring relevant deadlines, quality measures and that KPIs/ targets generally and compliance are adhered to.
About You
- We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working in a similar role previously. You’ll be able to work quickly and accurately whilst also always giving excellent client care. Given the nature of the role, it’s essential that you are an exceptional and confident communicator as you’ll work as part of this highly respected team to assist clients and the firm’s trust corporation to the highest of your ability.
