The Team

The Birmingham Employment team advise businesses and individuals on all aspects of employment law, including but not limited to redundancies, disciplinary and grievances, Settlement Agreements, TUPE, absence management and undertake a wide range of Employment Tribunal claims. The Birmingham Employment team have a specialism in Employment Tribunal claims which are insurance funded.

Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

Working in our Employment team is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in challenging and complex cases, whilst learning from the very best. Working as a Paralegal, you’ll support the team with legal administrative tasks around insurance funded Employment Tribunal litigation. As your confidence in the role increases, you’ll start to work directly on Employment Tribunal cases with the support and supervision of more senior members of the team. You’ll have exposure to a range of interesting tasks including documentation and witness statements preparation, settlement discussion, advising clients and Employment Tribunal hearing preparation.

  • Some previous Employment Paralegal experience
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work with clients and external institutions and organisations
  • A friendly, enthusiastic and can-do approach
  • Commitment to securing justice for victims of unjust treatment in the workplace
