Family Law Paralegal
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join our highly regarded Family Department, based in our Cardiff office.

The Role
You will be part of a team working collaboratively with fee earners. Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Supporting solicitors with day to day running of all type family files, both legal aid and private client matters
- Attending client conferences
- Attending conference with counsel
- Attending hearings with counsel
- Preparation of statements and other court documents /pleadings
- Preparation of electronic bundles
- Legal aid applications
- Seeking expert reports from third parties
- Arranging interpreters.
- Preparation of trail bundles
- Dealing with telephone enquiries
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 12 months’ experience dealing with family matters preferred
- Excellent time management with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
- The ability to evaluate and offer solutions where required
- Work well in team with a flexible and collaborative approach
- The motivation to learn and self-develop
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages and Case Management Systems.
